Looking for a friendly, safe and knowledgeable place to learn to ride or board your horse in the FM area? Come on by our Horse Farm! Red River Equestrian Center LLC is family owned and operated, and we are known for our expertise in all things equine. Our facility includes large indoor and outdoor arenas, turnout, large stables, and a viewing area and tack store. We have shows and special events throughout the year, all within 20 minutes of Fargo Moorhead.

Lessons offerings

We offer a variety of lessons based on where you are in your riding journey
 

We offer lessons nearly everyday of the week for beginners with various instructors.

Lesson horses are included for beginner/low intermediate lessons either english or western at no extra charge, or you can trailer in your own horse if you have one.  Our current lesson horses are able to support riders up to 180lbs.

Beginners ages 7 to adult, Mondays through Sundays, sign up here

For riders 7 and under, we offer parent child lessons where a caregiver learns alongside the child and stays with the child while the child rides. Sign up here for Parent- child lessons.

 

If you are an intermediate or advanced rider, find a suitable instructor based on your goals an interests, and our schedule here:

​For low intermediate English riders looking to improve their skills on the flat with a lesson horse, book with

Ella on Mondays or Fridays,  or Katie on Sundays, sign up here, selecting Monday, Friday or Saturday date.

​

For low intermediate western riders, sign up on Tuesdays with Kat, here.

​

For training level + dressage riders with their own horses (trailer in or leased, or email us to see if schoolmasters are available), book with Kenzie on Tuesdays/Thursdays or Katie on Sundays. Riders must get and tack up /tack down their own horses for training level+ lessons. Book here with Kenzie.

Over fence work: Jumping and xcountry

For low intermediate or higher riders looking to get started in over fence work, see our prejump, introductory jumping, and jumping schedule below.

​

Book Prejumping here: Pre-jumping is  suitable for either riders able to trot and steer safely, learning to canter independently.

Book introductory jumping here: Introductory jumping is suitable for rider who can control their horses safely at walk/trot/canter and have learned the rules of arena riding, can steer and demonstrate appropriate seat for jumping as taught in pre-jumping. Lesson horses are available for prejumping to introductory jumping. Please note you will need your own horse or a leased horse to progress pass introductory jumping.

Book 2ft + jumping here: 2ft+ with your own horse, (can trailer in for no charge if not boarding here), with Kenzie.

Mondays and Fridays : Pre jump skills or introductory lesson horse jumping (jump seat and poles) with Ella, book here

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2ft + jumping for riders with owned/leased horses with Kenzie, no extra charge for trailering in, book here.

Sundays 12-3p,: pre jump skills or introductory lesson horse jumping, or advanced jumping for riders trailering in with Katie, book here​

Eventing, Dressage & Jumping Show Series

2026 dates: June 20/21; Aug 1/2;  Sept 12/13

Join us for our summer eventing series. This one has classes in dressage, jumping, and x-country, including a 2 phase and 3 phase event and will decide our year end eventing championship. This schooling show is geared towards lower levels, with our green as grass eventing division starting out at 12". Come have fun at RREC with your horse, or show of your skills with your lesson horse.

Clinics Friday afternoons and Saturday evening during show weekend with Judge.
